Elevators and Robots

So I'm a senior in college. I'm taking the capstone course for my department, Distributed Embedded Systems. This course has kept me up past midnight on Wednesday and Thursday nights building a kick-ass elevator program.
Another course I'm taking, General Robotics, is an extremely fun but time-taking course. We build robots out of legos that navigate a maze. This course keeps me up past midnight on Monday nights.
I'm also playing D&D on the weekends. I DM one group that generally meets on Friday afternoons. It's going really well, though the group became unusually large due to an error in planning.
Additionally, I play in a D&D campaign. The problem with this one is that it is very role-playing intensive (unlike the kick-in-the-door style that I'm used to) and I play a fighter that likes weapons. We've only had three battles, one of which we were destined to lose, one which had enemies I couldn't hurt, and finally the latest one I had a chance to fight, but I was part of a huge army, so I was one of many NPC fighters. The other two players are a sorcerer and a rogue, so there is very little fighting that goes on. Unfortunately, we never play anymore because we don't have any time. When we do get to play, it's usually on Friday or Saturday night from X:00pm to Y:00am.
Finally, the last new thing is that I have a part-time job that will bloom into a full-time job when I graduate. I build full-custom/semi-custom manufacturing robots. It's totally awesome. It's also a REALLY small company. When I applied for the job, my boss stopped all the employees to interview me. When they were done, they both discussed and said I could have the job. They are currently looking for a CNC machinest, though I'm not sure why yet.

Well, that's all that's new with me. I hope that not too many people missed me.
Actually I do. That would me more people care about me.

I missed you, Alan! I found out about your livejournal very late in the game, much later than July actually, but I began wishing you would make some new entries. I'm glad that you're so happy with your work. I think that's a really important part of having a happy life, and you've nailed it. Congratulations!
